Anterior Segment Imaging
Anterior imaging technique is an advancing field of ophthalmology. Pentacam and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) are the new imaging modalities available.
- A Pentacam is a non-invasive and non-contact diagnostic instrument that provides a 3-dimensional image of the anterior portion of the eye.
- Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a diagnostic imaging technique that is used to map and measure the thickness of the retina (light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye).
